Please, I need help. I read so much about it online but due to shortage of time, I only have 1 day to spend in the city. My hotel (most probably Hotel Mack) is near to the city centre, and I don't think I will be able to go far. Could you help me plan my travel initiary?

I wish to include certain things in my trip, maybe a visit to the museum of natural history, for a few hours, then a visit to the shopping market I heard near to the train station, then at 4pm, there's a tour in porsche museum, then at night, walk in the park.

Or is there something else I might include or should not miss out? I really do want to try my best to enjoy Stuttgart the best that I can in the short time I have

Thank you for your help and a belated Happy New Year!

There are a whole bunch of Museums and such right in the city center, as well as the royal residence, and all the shopping you will want to do. But it looks like you have a pretty full schedule already. If you want to make a little further excursion there is Solitude Palace a bit to the north and the Ludwigsburg Palace (one of the best Baroque palaces in Germany), and you can also get tours of the Daimler-Chrysler factory. And for all that Stuttgart is still quite provincial, and has a back-country kind of charm. But don't drink the Trollinger - a pretty bad local red wine. Happy New Year as well.

Stuttgart is a very nice Town and there are a lot of to see.

One Tip i have for u visit the tv Tower on the top so u have a great sight over Stuttgart and the country arround. U can go there by train and bus just ask in the Hotel or at the tourist information. In the City is the Castle and if u came in Summertime u can visit in the evening a Beer Garden.

I life near Stuttgart an I love it.

Have a nice stay in Stuttgart.

Your hotel is a the biggest shopping mile in stuttgart (Koeigstrasse) and also netxt to the Train, Bus and S Bahn station. If you walk to the middle of the Koenigstrasse there is a park with little restaurants and cafes. There is also a old castle.

If you have time you can take the S Bahn(subway) and go to the SI Centrum. Is a wellness place, casino, movie theater, musicals and bars and restaurants.(takes about 21 min.)

Have a nice trip

Stuttgart is nice city south of Germany. You just have only 1 day so in every hotel they have brochures where you can go, what you can see and what you can do. They also helpful English speaking employees at the hotels answering your questions.

There is a palace(schloss) on the northern edge of Stuttgart worth seeing. Very elegant. I'm sure you can get there on a bus or strassenbahn. I can't remember the name, but most likely you will see info on it at tourist info places. I think it was king Ludwig's palace. Have fun... enjoy.

Don't put your hopes too high. Stuttgart is a rather provincial town.
